3.1 Information stored locally on your device
The Game saves the following information on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear the Game's data:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Game progress — levels completed, in-game items, saved state, high scores | So you can continue where you left off |
| A randomly generated identifier (UUID) created on first launch | To associate your saved progress with your device |
| Language preference | To display the Game in your chosen language |
| First-install timestamp and daily play-time counters | To support in-Game features such as daily limits |
| A flag recording whether you accepted this Privacy Policy | To avoid showing the consent screen repeatedly |
| Audio and haptic preference settings | To remember your settings |
We do not collect or store your name, email address, phone number, postal address, precise or approximate location, contacts, calendar data, photos, videos, audio recordings, health data, SMS, call logs, or biometric data.
3.2 Network connections
The Game requires the INTERNET permission for two purposes only:
- Opening this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service in an in-Game web
view, when you tap the relevant links. This loads a page from
www.duoruigroup.com. As with any web page request, our web server receives your IP address and standard request metadata (such as your browser user-agent), and may record it in server logs for security and operational purposes. - Downloading game updates and assets required to run the current version of the Game.
The Game does not send your gameplay data, device identifiers, or any other information about you to our servers. There is no account system and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK embedded in the Game.
3.3 Information the store platform collects
When you download or use the Game through Google Play, Google may collect information as part of operating its platform, such as installation data, crash reports you opt into sharing, and purchase history for any purchases you make on Google Play. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller and is governed by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We receive only aggregated, non-identifying statistics from Google Play (for example, total install counts and country-level distribution), which we cannot use to identify you.
4. Permissions We Request
The Android version of the Game requests only the following permissions:
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
INTERNET | To open this Privacy Policy in the Game, and to download game assets |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To check whether a network connection is available |
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE | To check connection type |
VIBRATE | To provide haptic feedback when you interact with the Game |
The Game does not request permissions for location, camera, microphone,
contacts, external storage, or telephone functions. The Game does not
request the com.android.vending.BILLING (in-app purchase) permission, because
the Game does not offer in-app purchases.
5. How We Use Information
Because the Game does not transmit your information to us, our use of information is limited to the following:
- Operating the Game on your device — reading and writing your local save data so your progress is preserved;
- Responding to your requests — for example, if you email us for support, we will use the information you provide in your message to reply to you;
- Keeping the Game secure and working — using server logs from our website to detect abuse or technical faults;
- Complying with legal obligations — where applicable law requires it.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal information.
6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide you with the Game you have requested;
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Game secure and functional, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent — where we ask for your consent for a specific action, and where you may withdraw it at any time;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Web hosting providers — the IP address and request metadata recorded when you open this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Service in the Game, in order to serve the web page;
- Legal requirements — where we are required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or us;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.
8. Data Retention
- Locally stored game data remains on your device until you clear the Game's data or uninstall the Game. We have no access to it and cannot delete it remotely; you can remove it yourself at any time through your device settings.
- Support correspondence — if you contact us by email, we retain your message only for as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry and to satisfy any legal record-keeping requirements.
- Website server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
9. International Data Transfers
Our website hosting providers may store information in countries other than your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved transfer mechanism.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we process against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Because the Game stores your progress locally on your own device, its security also depends on the security of your device — we recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device software up to date.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal data;
- Delete personal data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Portability of personal data you provided to us;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@duoruigroup.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can delete all locally stored Game data at any time by clearing the Game's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the Game.
11.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. Because the Game does not transmit your information to us, we generally hold no personal information about you to disclose or delete, other than any correspondence you have sent us.
12. Children's Privacy
The Game is suitable for players of all ages, including children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not require any personal information to play the Game. Because the Game has no account system and does not transmit personal information to us, no personal information from children is collected.
To protect younger players, the Game:
- contains no advertising;
- contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs;
- contains no social features, chat, or user-generated content;
- contains no in-app purchases;
- does not collect location, contacts, photos, or microphone data.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information (for example, by emailing us for support), please contact us at info@duoruigroup.com and we will delete such information.
12.1 Notice for parents (COPPA and similar laws)
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. We do not condition a child's participation in any activity on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary. If you have any concern about your child's privacy while using the Game, please contact us at info@duoruigroup.com.
13. Do Not Track
The Game does not track your activity across other apps or websites, and does not respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals, because it does not engage in cross-context behavioural tracking.
14. Third-Party Services
The Game does not embed any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
The Game is distributed through Google Play, and the Android operating system and Google Play services process certain data as part of running your device and delivering the Game. This processing is governed by Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where required by law or by Google Play policy, provide additional notice within the Game or through the store listing. Material changes will not be applied retroactively without your consent where consent is required.
Your continued use of the Game after an update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
